Before COVID had even appeared, the greatest challenge for businesses was convincing consumers of their authenticity, authentically!
In other words, how to build trust in an ever sceptical and choice rich society.
The COVID pandemic then raised and accelerated new challenges for business, and new thinking was required to not only remain competitive, but solvent.
Starting a business nowadays is as easy as it’s ever been, and as always, new players emerged.
New players were driven to serve disgruntled consumers and untapped niche markets, many driven from their own or shared experiences in the marketplace.
Whatever stage of maturity a business is at, there was a need to address key emerging challenges and most of which were being driven by the consumer.
There are more reasons than ever to rethink how business needs to be done.
So what are some of the most pressing current issues to address?
- Diminishing trust in companies
- Diminishing brand control
- Increasing personal search for meaning
- Growing power of employee
- Societal role business now plays – or should play
- The speed needed in business to keep up.
The most successful leaders, teams and businesses can address these and other issues much faster through clarity of purpose than those without purpose.
The advantage new players have is they are starting with their purpose, and building from there.
The game is getting faster.
Are you able to keep up the pace with the emerging players?
Have a great day!
